Police Witness Appeals

The Police have issued the following weekly news release detailing crime incidents in Brent where they are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that may help them with their enquiries.

2) Robbery Mandela Close, London, NW10
3) Robbery, Brondesbury Road, London, NW6
4) Robbery, Chichele Road, London, NW2
5) Robbery, East Lane, Wembley
6) Robbery, Minet Avenue, London, NW10
7) Robbery, Rutherford Way, Wembley
8) Serious Assault, Braemar Avenue, Ealing Road

Male, seriously injured, Harrow Road, near to the Junction of Chestnut Avenue, Sudbury on Monday 14.08.2006 at 01.00 hours


The 33 year old white male was rushed to the nearby Northwick Park Hospital & received treatment for a severe head injury. He was later transferred to the National Neurological Hospital in Central London where he remains in a critical condition. Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident who were in the vicinity of BUTLERS GREEN PARK/HARROW ROAD and may have seen the male sitting on a park bench near the bus stop or in company with two further white males in Sudbury Town a short time before. At the time of the incident the male was wearing a black T-Shirt and blue jeans.

Police are keeping an open mind at this time as to the cause of the victim's injuries but any help from members of the public will be welcomed. Robbery, Mandela Close, London, NW10 on Saturday 19.8.06 at 20.20


A 32-year-old male was delivering pizza when he was approached by four suspect males demanding money from him. The victim refused their demands and was then hit in the face by one of the suspects, causing a deep cut. The suspects then made off in the direction of Faewood Avenue with the victim’s Nokia 6280 mobile phone was missing.
The first suspect is described as a black male approx 18 years old; he was wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured baseball cap.
The other three suspects are black males, approx 18 years old

Robbery, Brondesbury Road, London, NW6 on Monday 21.8.06 at 01:00 hours 0


A 21-year-old female on a visit from Spain, was heading towards Kilburn High Road, intending to take a taxi home. A male suspect approached her from behind causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect took her rucksack off her back and fled in an unknown direction. The bag contained Canon video camera, Sony digital video camera, large amount of cash and a pair of sunglasses.
There are no suspect details for this crime.

Robbery, Chichele Road, London, NW2 on Sunday 20.8.2006 at 04:05 hours


A 22-year-old male on holiday from Italy was robbed near his home address by two male suspects. The suspects threw a tomato at the victim, grabbed him from behind and began to punched him demanding his mobile. The suspects then made off in an unknown direction before taking his bag, which contained his passport. .
Both suspect are described as black males.

Robbery, East Lane, Wembley, Middlesex on Tuesday 22.8.06 at 16:10 hours


A 14-year-old boy was on a 245 bus travelling along East Lane when he was approached by three suspect males who began punching him in the face. The suspects and the victim got off the bus at Watford Road. The suspects took the victims 6230 Nokia mobile phone and 10 cash.
The first suspect is described as an Asian male, 5’6 tall, approx 16 years old; he was wearing a black hoodie, black baseball cap,
The second suspect is described as an Asian male 5’12 he was wearing black top and bottoms.
The third suspect is described as an Asian male approx 16 years old; he was wearing a black baseball cap and grey t shirt.

Robbery, Minet Avenue, London, NW10 on Thursday 24.8.06 at 01:05 hours


A 31-year-old male was walking along Station Road, when he got to the junction with Minet Avenue he was approached by four male suspects. The suspects began to punched and kicked the male before taking his Apple ipod from his shirt pocket and cash from his bag. The suspects ran off towards Harley Road. The victim walked home and called police who arranged for LAS to take him to hospital.
The suspect is described as a black male, approx 20 years old, 5’10 tall he was wearing dark top.
The other three suspects are described as black males.

Robbery, Rutherford Way, Wembley, Middlesex on Thursday 24.8.2006 at 06:45 hours


A 41-year-old male parked and secured his Green Nissan Estate on Rutherford Way at 0645 hours. When he returned at 1700 hours he discovered his rear number plate index M665 XOT was missing.

Assault, Braemar Avenue, Ealing Road on Monday 28.8.2006


Police were called to a large disturbance 28/08/06 on Braemar Avenue at the Junction with Ealing Road. A 19-year-old male was taken to hospital with serious injuries, his condition is stable but he will probably lose his left arm.11 males have been arrested. Numerous weapons have been recovered from the scene including baseball bats, a sword and an axe. A number of cars were also recovered from the scene, some of which had weapons inside. The scene has been forensically examined and an investigation is underway.
